Every year, the Probos Foundation produces an overview of the production, import, export and consumption of wood and timber products in the Netherlands, on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality. The results have already been published on bosenhoutcijfers.nl (Dutch only). From now on, a concise publication will also be published annually containing the most important figures. You can download the first version here.

A handy booklet was published every year with the key data on forest and timber in the Netherlands, but now there is a website (Dutch only).

The Probos Foundation is committed to sustainable forest management and a sustainable timber sector. These are inextricably connected. Good and independent information provision is crucial to stimulate a well-functioning timber value chain, which is based on sustainability principles. That is why Probos collects, processes and interprets qualitative and quantitative information from the forest to the recycling of wood products, both nationally and internationally. These extensive datasets and good contacts at home and abroad can provide detailed insight into the developments in the supply, trade and consumption of wood in the various links of the timber value chain.
